Madden’s Junior Golf Programs offer a complete developmental opportunity ranging from beginner/intermediate youth camps to an introduction to competitive junior leagues. Madden’s team of instructors are dedicated to providing programming for junior golfers that fosters growth and improvement in their skills through instruction that is relaxed and fun.

Our mission is to provide each student with a customized improvement plan designed around the student’s goals, ability level, and physical fitness. Our teaching style is designed to be fun, relaxing, and show real improvement without overwhelming the student.

S.N.A.G Intro to Golf Camp - Ages 4-6

Our beginner SNAG golf program uses specialized equipment with larger club heads and golf balls to maximize learning and enjoyment! Recommended for ages 4-6 or juniors who are just starting in golf.

Key Concepts:

  • Full Swing Fundamentals – Grip, Stance, Alignment, Ball Position
  • Etiquette – where to stand, bunkers, pitch marks
  • Short Game – Chipping/Pitching/Putting

Madden’s 2025 Junior Golf Development 1

Introduces playing the game and key golf fundamentals. Development of fundamental athletic movement skills, golf fundamental movement skills, and teach general overall sports skills. Recommended for ages 6-10 or juniors who have some experience with golf.

Key Concepts:

  • Grip – effective and functioning grip
  • Stance – routine or procedure for each shot
  • Alignment – aiming the club face and aligning the body
  • Scoring – how to keep each other’s score
  • Etiquette – where to stand, quite, bunkers, pitch marks
  • Chipping/Pitching/Putting – angle of club at impact, loft, roll vs. carry

4:00 sessions with Jeff Marshall, Head Golf Professional at Madden’s Pine Beach East and Pine Beach West

Madden’s 2025 Junior Golf Development 2

Focus on play and enhancing scoring skills and build on competitive golf experiences. Recommended for ages 10-14 or juniors who have advanced from Development 1.

Key concepts:

  • Putting – distance control, green reading, ball position and aim
  • Optimizing driving for distance and direction
  • Swing plane
  • General physical condition and health – balance, flexibility, posture, core strength, stability, and cardiovascular endurance
  • Understanding the Rules of Golf and exceptional etiquette
  • Knowledge of how far participants generally hit all clubs in their golf bag.

Empowering and Inspiring Girls through The Game of Golf

Madden’s is proud to offer one of the largest and most robust Junior Golf programs in the state, providing young golfers with top-tier instruction, a fun learning environment, and a strong foundation in the game. As part of our commitment to growing the sport, we launched Fore Girls Only to encourage more girls to get involved, recognizing that they have historically made up a smaller percentage of junior golfers. We believe in fostering diverse, well-rounded teams where every young athlete feels supported and empowered to play. By creating more opportunities for girls in golf, we hope to inspire the next generation to embrace the game with confidence and passion, and to take the principles they learn in the sport and apply them to all aspects of life.

While these events are designed with girls in mind, everyone is invited to participate!

  • Junior Golf League

    Designed after the national PGA Jr League program, Madden’s Junior Golf League is an entry level introduction to competitive Jr Golf.  Madden’s Junior Golf League is a team format similar to T-Ball designed for ages 8 and up. Teams will be made up of 8-12 juniors that will have 1 practice and 1 match each week for 5 weeks. The matches are modeled after the Ryder Cup with 2 golfers from each team playing a fun but competitive Scramble format against 2 players from another team.

    Dates: July 7th – August 11th
    Practice on Mondays, Matches on Wednesdays

    Price: $225
    Includes 6 practices, 6 matches, and team golf shirt & hat

    Practices at Madden’s Airport Driving Range and matches at Madden’s Pine Beach East, West, and Social 9 golf courses

Ages 10-18, includes play on Pine Beach West 18-hole golf course – the perfect course to learn the game. Golf anytime Monday – Friday and after noon Saturday & Sunday (may play Saturday and Sunday before noon if accompanied by a paid adult). Carts additional.

Madden’s is a proud partner of Youth On Course! After purchasing a Youth on Course card for $30 from the MGA website here, Junior Golfers may play Madden’s Courses Social 9 (anytime) or Pine Beach West (Sunday-Thursday after noon) for just $5 dollars.
