East Gull Lake Trails
The East Gull Lake bike trail is just steps from Madden’s Resort and explores the scenic Gull Lake area, perfect for a quick morning or afternoon bike trip.
Paul Bunyan Trail
At 120 miles long, the Paul Bunyan Trail is MN’s longest bike trail. Now fully paved, the Paul Bunyan Trail connects several of the lakes area’s largest cities, stretching from Brainerd/Baxter all the way to Bemidji. Section 1 of the Paul Bunyan Trail, from mile markers 0.0 to 40.7, covers areas from Brainerd, Baxter, Merrifield, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Jenkins, Pine River, and up to Backus. It is about a 15 minute drive to the nearest trail access.
Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area
World-class mountain biking can be found just outside our backdoor at Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trails. Featuring 22 miles of new purpose-built, single track mountain bike trails for riders of all levels, Cuuyuna trails offer some of the best views in northern MN.
